How it works

Four steps, about a minute

A wishlist should be a link you send, not a piece of software anyone has to learn. Here is the whole flow, from an empty list to a gift arriving.

No account needed to giveUnlisted by defaultFree for everyone
01Start a list

Name it, say what it's for, set a date if there is one. Nothing is public until you share the link.

02Paste links

Any store. We pull the title, image, currency and live price. Anything we can't read, you type in by hand — including things that aren't for sale.

03Share one link

Text it, email it, put it in the group chat. No app, no account, no login wall for the people you send it to.

04They claim

A giver taps Claim, types a name and an email, and the item goes grey for everyone else. You never see who claimed what unless you turn surprise mode off.

What a giver sees

One screen, two taps, no account

The list is a page, not a product. A giver opens it, picks something, and leaves. If plans change, the email they get has a one-click link to release the claim.

When one person can't cover it

One person claims the expensive item and buys it at the store. From their claim they can email the friends who are splitting it — and everyone settles up with the buyer directly, however they already do.

There is no pool and no payment button, because we never hold money at all. That is the whole point: nothing to hold means nothing to refund and nothing to lose.

The two rules we don't bend
Surprise mode is on by default

You see that something was claimed. You don't see what, or by whom, until the date passes — or until you turn it off.

Your address is never shown to a group

A giver shipping to you enters it at the store, from a one-time link. Nobody in the group ever sees it, and neither does another giver.

Questions people actually ask

Does a giver need an account?

No. A name and an email, and only so we can send the release link and tell them if the list changes.

What does it cost?

Nothing, on either side. We earn from affiliate links when someone buys from a store, and no money ever passes through us to skim.

Can I add something that isn't in a shop?

Yes. Type a title and a price, or leave the price off entirely — 'help us move house' is a valid item.

What if two people claim the same thing?

They can't. The first claim locks the item; the second person sees it greyed out before they can act.

Can I stop people seeing the list?

Lists are unlisted by default — reachable only with the link. You can rotate the link, which breaks the old one.

What happens after the date passes?

The list stays up, read-only, with what arrived. Nothing is deleted unless you delete it.
