Every section below is structure only: the headings are real, the words are not. Nothing on this page has been written or reviewed by a lawyer, and none of it may be published. Amber markers are the holes. Counsel to draft; the claim and share-the-cost mechanics described in the product are the binding behaviour to match.
The agreement
Who is agreeing to what, and the fact that using a list at all means accepting this. acceptance + capacity clause
Accounts
Sign-in is a magic link; there is no password to lose. One named admin per organisation, and what happens when that person leaves. account transfer procedure
What you post
You keep ownership of your list and your photos and grant us the licence needed to display them. What is not allowed on a list, and our right to remove it. licence grant prohibited content list
Claiming a gift
A claim is a statement of intent between people, not a contract with us. We are not the seller and do not ship anything. no-liability-for-purchase wording
No payments — claims and share-the-cost
We do not process, hold, pool or refund money, ever. A claim is coordination: the claimer buys at the merchant directly, and the merchant's own terms govern that purchase.
Share-the-cost is an email from the buyer to friends. Any settlement between those people happens between those people — we are not a party to it and hold no position on it. disclaimer wording for private settlements
Organisations
Eligibility, the EIN verification you agree to, the safeguarding rules, delivery proof, and the grounds on which we suspend an organisation. suspension + appeal process
How we make money
Outbound store links carry affiliate tags. Nothing is a paid placement and no ranking is ever sold. disclosure wording, FTC-compliant
Disclaimers and liability
Service provided as-is, the cap on our liability, and the carve-outs that cannot be limited. warranty + limitation clauses
Ending it
How you close an account, how we close one, and what happens to a live list and its active claims. termination effects
Governing law and disputes
Jurisdiction, and the route a dispute takes. governing law + dispute resolution
